Do I need a referral to attend Counselling?

You don’t need a referral to see me.
One of the things my clients appreciate is how easy it is to get started. You don’t have to go through your GP or wait for a referral—just reach out, book a session, and we can begin your healing journey together. I’m here when you’re ready.

How many Counselling Sessions do I need?

​

Everyone’s healing journey is deeply personal and unique. There’s no set timeline, no magic number of sessions that works for everyone, and that’s completely okay. Healing isn’t linear, and it doesn’t happen overnight. The number of sessions you might need depends entirely on where you’re starting from, what you’ve been through, and how you respond to the process.

Is my information kept private?

​

Everything we discuss in our sessions is treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. Your personal information is protected under the Australian Privacy Act 2024.

There are a few rare situations where I am legally required to share information, such as if there’s a serious risk of harm to you or someone else or requested by law —but I will explain all of this clearly at the beginning of our first session, so you know exactly what to expect.

I aim to create a safe, trusting space where you feel heard and supported.

What forms of payment are available?​

​

An invoice will be sent to you via Stripe, a secure online payment platform, before your session. Please note that payment is required in advance to confirm your booking.

What if I have to cancel my appointment?

​

I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Please note that the full session fee will be charged if less notice is given. Thank you for understanding!
